This is such a great app! You can import an mp3 from your music and isolate a loop and infinitely repeat until you learn it. Then easily extend the loop to learn just a little more. Also plays while you are in another app reading lyrics to learn or typing to transcribe. Great! Thanks!

This is a great app for choreographing routines as you can mark, loop, and change the speed without it sounding sped up, or slowed down. What I would like for future release (which would complete this tool) is; Being able to mark all of the sections so I can quickly go to verse 1, then verse 2, the chorus, break, etc. at the push of buttons which can be on right side. Instead I have to mark only the section Im actively working on.

I sometimes struggle learning quick riffs and fast solos by ear on my guitar. This app allows me to slow down any song from my music library. I can hear almost every note now! Awesome app!

Excellent app but need to add Apple streaming music service for important songs so that drm protected songs will work you made it compatible with Spotify so please take into consideration to upgrade app so that people can enjoy using this app including me. iPhone 6 iOS version 9.2

Im not sure ASD could be much better. The UI is simple and intuitive. Slowed-down music sounds good, in contrast to how awful it sounds in the free products I tried.

I use this for learning Irish traditional music which is often played quite fast. Sound quality is excellent and with eq capability you can isolate the lead part easier. I highly recommend it.

Its the best transcribing app in the App Store that Ive found. I use it for transcribing jazz tunes. Ive more than gotten my moneys worth!

This app is perfect! It does everything I need. I am a private violin teacher and I love being able to slow down the tempos for all of my students. It works beautifully with my Bluetooth speaker. It helps with recital prep and practicing orchestra music, basically everything. This app also allows you to loop certain sections by adjusting the start time and end time. You can also adjust the pitch, if you want. My favorite thing about this app is how easy it is to upload songs from my music library and make playlists. I can make playlists ahead of time for group class and I also have playlist for every book in the Suzuki method. Love love love this app! rachelviolin.com

First time Ive used the app in over a year. Updated etc but no longer imports music files. Import hangs. Its a shame

I have been using this app for years and I love it. It has helped me with my guitar practice and singing. I never write reviews but for the little money I paid for this app I feel I owe it to them to at least show how I feel about it. I will not write about the benefits of looping and speed control and all the cool features because you already know. I just want to say thank you to anyone who had anything to do with this app. I appreciate it and I think it is my favorite app ever.

Overall, very useful app. WISH I was able to import songs from AppleMusic. After all... This is an APPLE PRODUCT. Need an update that supports this feature ASAP! Other than this, I wouldve rated 5stars.

This is a great program we have been using for many years. Is it possible to have a way to seamlessly access Dropbox files? That would be marvelous. The title says it all. This app does what is says. Absolutely no problems. A must have for any serious musician!!!

I have been enthusiastic user of ASD for several years so I did not think twice about updating the app 3/17. Bad mistake. The current version offers no way to add songs. The add button is no longer on the tool bar. That puts me in a pickle since I have added only ½ of Handels Israel in Egypt. I hope they fix this bug in the near future.

This app will not let me import any of my songs from iTunes. It may be due to my Apple Music subscription where I can download any song. Im not trying to steal or copy the song. I just want to learn the song in a different key which is why I spent $15 on this app. The details for this app had 3 screenshots and no details. This app says its built for iPads and iPhones. Very disappointing.

I have been using this app for a few years. It is the best out there for Professional and amateur musicians. This version takes iPad capability to another level by allowing imports from cloud services and other places as well. Let me let you in on another secret: Its looping capabilities are excellent for transcribing speeches as well. It is better than the apps supposing to be built for transcription. When you become proficient with its easy operation, you will be a transcription pro. I saw where one person rated the app low for something limited by apple. He has to keep in mind ITunes content may be DRM limited on some files. All the other apps, if I may share my opinion, are copy cats. A version of this apps for the Windows platform has been around since at least the 1990s.
